The Hum
Back from a hospital stay, the sunshine
Spawned a day of pleasant mystery: Where
Did the hum come from? Just below knowing
a glowing arsenal of sounds shoved their way
into audition, pleasant and sweet, they tinged
the light with hues that hummed like those little
birds that hum and dart so fast they are invisible
as they pass and repass in their urgent haste to
find the other end of their someplace else.
