As we walked along the shore, the
Lake trembled in a raging wind. It
Had been a tempestuous day and
We had come here to say goodbye.
Alarm at the shaking lake was enough
To make us link arms and when the
Elm smashed to the ground our fears
changed gears. In a tight embrace our
hearts raced as one. With leaves
Swirling like winter snow we came to
Know we needed each other to
Weather storms not yet formed.
I experience the drama here, and the reconnection to love xoxoxo
