Sparsely settled, our closest neighbor was two miles across

A river. As children, games we played never strayed from the

Ancient rules and regs from The Old Countries of England,

Ireland, Wales and Scotland:

Hide and Go Seek, Little Bo Peep, Mumbletypeg, Tag, Blind

Man’s Bluff, Hop Scotch, Four Square, Tiddlywinks, Tetherball,

Dodge Ball, and Kick the Can.

Lump them all together and it’s a Witches brew of tried and true
