Sensing a gathering storm, the cattle began moseying
Towards the barn. With some distress they assessed
Where their calves were playing helter-skelter and
Began herding them towards shelter. If they hadn’t
Made the shelter and the rains came pelting down
They stoically switched their tails and turned down-
Wind to give the wind their small end to offend. When
The sun came back they nudged the bunch of sleeping
Calves and returned to lunch for themselves.

Playful and loving as always. xoxoox Susan
