Circus

From my vantage point of 93, I can see
The day my bro and me, I eleven and
He seven, got lost from our parents
at a ‘Traveling Circus”. We were guilty
of nothing more than being bored with
the squirrels and chipmunks galore and
were found attention-bound in an
adult tent featuring scantily clad girls
with provocative curls in unusual places.
We were caught hanging out in the front
Row. Our Dad was curious, mom furious,
Our petty cash, caput.

Classic brother poem, such a complete picture in few words. Like a little Glen movie.....
Great story Glen - loved your parents’ reaction!
Sounds like quite an adventure :)
